I have over 30 years of experience in ESG and Sustainability management and technical services. My management background includes leading cross-functional teams on multimillion-dollar projects spanning several years and as Operations Manager for a major environmental, health and safety services consulting firm. In terms of technical proficiency, I have a wealth of experience in developing and managing carbon reduction strategies which foster knowledge sharing and engagement, sustainability strategies, and environmental management systems. I specialize in areas such as environmental impact assessments, auditing, risk management, and governance structures aligned with ISO 14001 standards. For instance, working closely with a biopharma client, I established a governance structure in line with ISO 14001 standards. We prioritized reducing greenhouse gas emissions and successfully implemented a 4.2 MW onsite solar project through cross-functional teamwork. Additionally, as a certified member of the FSB Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), I assist clients in aligning their business strategies with global climate risk management standards. My ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification further underscores my commitment to excellence in environmental management and sustainability. My educational background includes a BA in Chemistry from UCSB, complementing my practical expertise. However, beyond qualifications, my greatest strengths are my ability to form strong, meaningful relationships and "seeing" the complex set of factors (technical, social, intrapersonal, organizational) from which a situation/problem evolved and then creating sustainable solutions that are clear and concise.

My personal interest in the environment and sustainability grew out my career in aerospace working on state-of-the-art camera systems for satellite missions that studied the earth and man’s impact on it. My work in both earth observing and astronomy applications also provided a deeper understanding of our unique place on Earth and the realization of our need to be good stewards of this beautiful planet. My career in aerospace focused on systems-level technical and program management, utilizing my cross-disciplinary skills to ensure successful coordination and integration of different engineering areas of expertise, (electrical, optical, mechanical, thermal, and test) into a successful end product. This kind of work requires a detailed focus on the interactions between different systems. My years of modeling and analyzing the interplay between different areas within a larger system is directly applicable to the modeling, analysis, understanding and interpretation, between the different influences that come into play within the field of ESG analysis. My journey has ignited a passion for sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to a low-carbon future. Using my computational and modeling skills and knowledge of alternative energy solutions, I provide computational development and analysis for ESG data, alternative energy solutions, and Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) data review.
